Whenever Trump's team insisted on recounts, I just rolled my eyes because ballot counting itself is not how fraud is done. The fraud is in the registration system.

Since we use secret ballots in the U.S. (for good reason), you will never be able to trace a person to a ballot. Therefore, the integrity must come from the registration system. This means keeping strict controls over who is allowed to register and cleaning the registry of dead people or people who have moved. And then ensuring that when a person comes to vote that they are on that registry and are who they claim to be.

The Democrats do everything in their power to allow anyone to register with no questions asked and they fight any attempts to clear the registries of ineligible people. And, of course, they fight all attempts to implement voter ID because it's racist or whatever.
