My heart breaks for the kids in the EBR system who don’t have mobility and are stuck there. Their circumstance is not their fault. The adults in their lives have failed them. And that isn’t good for any of us. The hope is that EBR and perhaps the City of BR sees this as an opportunity for monumental change, but they’ll need new leadership for that to happen. Maybe Ted James can be that guy? I don’t know but we all do need a better BR.

As I dig deeper, it seems he is as racist as BroomHilda, but he’s also smarter, and should be able to read the room on this.

He thinks that the black community needs fixing, and the only way to fix that is to triple the taxes.

He thinks personal responsibility will appear if only ther is more money to go around.

If you give the poor a bunch of money, pay for all their child care, etc, then the adults in that community will suddenly care about education, get good jobs, fathers will stay with mothers, etc.
