I'm old, but when I was at college, all of the men did this when they weren't in class or studying:
1. beer
2. women
3. listenin' to rock n' roll
4. pick-up basketball/ football, etc.
5. pullin' pranks on each other
This was 95% of our time.

The only time we camped out was for tickets and those were just keg parties
