It wasn't, hence the lampooning. It was fringe nonsense. . .which is why they say you couldn't make it today.

Because those people are real. . .and in the writers rooms.

I graduated HS the year PCU came out.

You were around them because Law schools were rife with them,

Campuses were generally devoid of them. I went to LSU in the mid to late 90's. Social science/education major. Almost none of that on campus in any visible way.
