Mayor and City Council will be appointed by Governor, pending elections.

Seeer system belongs to the Parish, but I suspect there will be a public works dept.

I expect Sales taxes and property taxes currently in place will remain in place. They were all put in place by the voters. I can’t see any new taxes in the immediate future, but who knows?

Yes they are shutting down The St. George Fire Department to commission the St. George Fire Dept.
