Right Trump isn't a 2A hawk and neither is Kennedy......However, I have heard RFK on the subject a number of times and basically his view is that the 2A is fully adjudicated and it's an unassailable right.
Maybe he supported calls for an assault weapon ban in the past I don't know......It's been basically a platform issue for Democrats since the early 90's. Trump would probably support one too if wasn't politically toxic to his base. Trump is a life long New Yorker so 2A, abortion, and these issues that are so important in fly over country never mattered that much to him.
