I would think the base with Joey would be far easier to go after. The media does not want Biden and POTUS Trump, but will clamor for Kennedy and POTUS Trump, to debate.
Kennedy is there to tear down POTUS Trump while Joey is hidden from view.

Or maybe Kennedy, like millions of other Americans, is disgusted with the status quo and the choice between Trump and Biden, and is offering an alternative.
