Holy shite
I don’t feel connected to my friends who don’t mask

Just another way for mental illness to reveal itself. The pandemic must have been like a crack overdose for hypochondriacs and obsessive compulsives

Man I read some of that and they are absolutely batshit crazy.

Wow. I don't see many maskers any more but whatever if someone wants to look like a goose over something that's not real.
But the extent to which these folks take their Covid concerns, sheesh, it almost reads like a pathology of sorts, as if they are so invested in that theory they can't unplug.
And yes, probably close to 100% are leftists, who persist in their control freak desire to make other people do things because they said so.
My personal experience has been that most Covidians now realize they were acting like overreactive little twats and keep a low profile, no doubt bc they are embarrassed about their behavior during that time, as they should be.

I'm sure they aren't missing out on much
That person made a choice to live in fear for the rest of their lives. No one wants to maintain a friendship with someone like that because it's impossible anyway

Came here to post an excerpt from this one...Holy shite. People w severe clinical depression probably have a better prognosis than these nuts

Wow.

I desperately want a small group of friends who take precautions at the same level my household does so we can have people over for dinner indoors again. I really miss just hanging out indoors with friends.
I have a feeling her "friends" aren't missing her company that much.

I didn’t even mention the grief around losing trust with everyone, so thanks for bringing that up. that’s a huge thing I’m unraveling right now. I truly trust no one, and not from anxiety, but from witnessing their behaviors.
Lunatics.

How safe is meeting friends outdoors when you're the only one masked? Hi everyone! Hoping to get some advice and opinions. Do you think spending time with friends at outdoor cafes when you're the only one masked is relatively safe? They would not be masked, nor are they actively being covid safe. They may be eating or just drinking. I would be masked and might take a few quick sips of drinks with either a SIP valve or just shoving a straw underneath my N95. Time spent together would be at most 2 to 3 hours, all outdoors, maybe if needed a quick car ride together (would try to keep car window cracked open). I might use the cafe's public bathroom. I'm trying to get back into socializing with some old friends and they are understanding of my situation, as in they are totally cool with me being covid conscious and masking the whole time/not eating with them. What do you think? Would you be pretty comfortable in this situation? Please share any advice or stories, thanks!
Question posed an hour ago. Can't even wrap my head around the level of utter insanity on this reddit board.

I’m speechless. I’ve never seen the word “plague” used that many times on one page. Pure insanity.
