I wasn't ever trying to say that Bingham is some great player, or that he should be leading off. I just responded to you say in SEC play they are the same offensively. While they get on base at the same rate, Bingham gets more hits, has more power, and strikes out less. I would rather not have to watch either of them.

I get what you are saying and it’s fair. When I was saying they are basically the same offensively I wasn’t necessarily taking the entire sec season into account bc I agree with LE that over the last month Kling has been trending up and Bingham has been trending down. It was kind of refreshing to see Kling have a decent outing against Mizzou but I should have known it wouldn’t last.

With all that said I agree. I wish we didn’t have to watch either and it’s like picking the lesser of two evils. If we have to pick an evil then give me the guy who most likely will have to play for us next year and let him take his licks now.

One thing I have noticed about all the good teams this year. They are being carried by juniors who are having breakout seasons. There is something to experience in the sec and bc Kling sucked so much last year, he wasn’t able to gain it. Would love to process him and get a stud CF in the portal or have the next Larson come in as a freshman but if we gotta ride with him next year then let him figure it all out now and hit the ground running next year. Lord help us.
