by surrounding that base with thousands and thousands of their own military personnel and/or cutting off electricity/water/wi-fi/essential services

not much you can do when you're outnumbered by a HUGE amount of people and all essential services are cut off

But at the same time, they have a point. If they’ve been expressing a desire for us to GTFO for a while

Have they? Why were we there to begin with?

any event, the right course of action seems to be for us to leave.

This just seems like a really bad and weak look if we did that. Par for the course for this WH though.

Could Niger be demanding billions of dollars now that it is crystal clear we will send billions upon billions to other nations while ignoring our own citizens?

We supposedly have the best and most advanced military in the world. And we are being controlled by the country of Niger?

China owns Africa via debt. China will get their resources. China is kicking us out of Africa.

I don’t have a problem, leaving these bases as long as we nuke the frick out of the base as soon as we pull out.

Make that acreage, toxic and on usable for the next hundred years.

I get it, but what’s the alternative? Get into a shooting war so that we can stay in frigging Niger?

Trump, BTW, would have had absolutely no interest in staying there either.

Great. With those two words, this thread is going to be a bat signal for the redpill crowd.

Because they absolutely do not fear us with a senile pedo occupying the White House and his staff sitting around contemplating what gender they are. This country has become a world wide embarrassment.

Yea I’m not trying to setup a gotcha. I honestly don’t know either.

I highly doubt trump would just rollover and say ok.

What exactly is happening here? Is this a hostage situation or do they want us to leave?

I posted about this a month ago. France was in control of Niger, Russia pulled off a coup a few months ago. I'll see if I can find it

it was the thread about being able to win a war since the geneva convention. some people were saying it was impossible. it just happened without a shot being fired.

We can send 1 million of their kind back for our 1000 troops. Sounds like a good deal.

Just let Africa rot. Once they’re begging for help again, let them starve this time.

it's not that complicated. the previous regime was installed by NATO and NATO friendly. Then Russia pulled off a coup and now the country's leaders owe their allegiance to them.
