His not knowing who she was, was proven to be BS, but he was on Ryan Clark's podcast and how he said, "it's more so how did she bag me", was obviously a joke as he was smiling when he said it and Clark and the other guy started laughing. I took it more as a joke than him being serious.

Nahhh… he’s insecure as frick. And because he was an idiot he’s now destined to lose his name and simply be known as her husband until it is over . Which is hilarious
