quote:Yes, intentionally. I even asked the question what difference does it make?
You're conflating the space within the event horizon with the singularity at the very center.
quote:I'd say the singularity is the singularity, the event horizon is the event horizon, and the "black hole" is the combo. But whatever floats your boat.
The singularity is actually the "black hole."
quote:Ok.
The space within the EH is just sort of like the slide leading into it. It has mass, a charge, and rotation due to how they are formed and/or the rotation of the mass that was pulled in to become the accretion disk.
quote:Did I suggest otherwise?
The event horizon can absolutely be measured and we have many times.
quote:I could say there's a bologna sandwich at the singularity and it would be more credible given that we have evidence that a bologna sandwich exists and thus could possibly cross an event horizon to join the other bologna sandwiches.
I might as well say God is at the singularity (some people probably do), it'll never be disproven.

No I was politely letting you know that your snide tone was unnecessary as I agreed with the part you incorrectly were talking about.

And yet you've argued in defense of the multiverse, wormholes, and a measurable singularity.
When you continue to be this arrogant and condescending while getting battered about the head and neck, it really takes the fun out of it.
