Shrink the roster to about 75 and let’s see how that impacts moves and $$$.

Or give impacted schools clout by requiring compensation from the school where the player signs

What's the cost of a full scholarship- fulltime tuition (in or out of state), room and board, books, and a stipend for spending cash?

Chuck Oliver said BYU has an NIL covering the costs for every walkon, to match the athletic scholarship. He also said their roster (with walkons) is at 134. That's 49 guys who are "walk ons", in name only.

If BYU can do it, I'm pretty confident LSU and the other bigtime SEC and Big 10 schools can do the same or more.

And as he pointed out, that basically eliminates the NCAA's ability to punish by cutting scholarships. Pull 10 per year away for a few years, that's fine. We'll just have 10 guys walk on and get NIL deals to cover it.
