Ironically, those guys are usually pretty happy with their job. Not saying that's necessarily indicative of difficulty, as I'm sure it's a difficult job.
It's just that if you look at jobs with the highest suicide rates - it seems like construction is way up there. Again, not saying that makes it "difficult" but it's not an easy life either.
I know, TD:OT, loves construction/blue collar trade jobs, but it's hard on the body.
