Yeah, this is absolutely what he should say. But Espada was probably asked specifically about Abreu. The baseball card remark sounds coordinated because Bagwell, Brown and Espada have all used it in public forums in the last few days about different players. Easy thing to use when a guy is 27 and starts slow. But he's 37 and has dissolved into a puddle of poo in a year-plus. Frankly, Abreu should be released. But it seems as if they're going to keep him because of the money involved.

Again, I'm worried Espada is the substitute teacher that the players will run over, much like Brown is a glorified farm director posing as a GM. The rot has set in at the top and is permeating through the organization.

Let’s start our closers first. Get behind and bring in a starter and finish the game, hopefully we score some runs to support them late.

All Astros players said, “Martin Maldanado”.

Was Martin the actual manager last year while Dusty was high or asleep the entire season?
