A 12 month delay in notification is terrible.
I've had notices like that from URHC, a credit reporting agency and maybe another outfit related to healthcare.. all of them were about breaches the year before,
I seem to remember years ago when big companies were getting hacked a lot and people raised hell about the timeliness of notification. Rules were made to help the poor consumers.. and notification times went from months to a year.
You never hear who breached the system or what they got or for sure if your info was among the stuff pilfered.
But here's a free sub to another contractor that you can give access to your information.
