accidentally touched the cattle wire around my grandparents yard a few times growing up. It ran off a car battery on a constant trickle charge. We got used to it.
Worked for an electrician one summer during college. They kept me away from the serious stuff but let me wire outlets and fixtures with some supervision. Got "bit" a few times by the 120v circuits. I did see a guy get electrocuted when they were setting a pole light that for some reason had to be "hot" while it was being installed. Actually saw the arc jump out and hit the guy in the chest. They did CPR until the ambulance came but they couldn't revive him.
