When cost to repair and maintenance has been falling? Mine keeps going up despite no claims, tickets, etc.

Because insurance pays more than just repair expenses. It also pays for injuries. And medical costs are still rising.

Has claims activity in your area decreased?

Is this total spending, average cost of a repair, or something else?

They look at the entire enchilada. I'm stunned people don't understand this.
They aren't just looking at you. They are looking at the entire supply of who they are covering/costs/loss.
The cost of cars has skyrocketed is as well....more money to cover in the event of loss.

Get a different agent.
Not all agents are created equal.

I don’t believe this at all, especially with body and paint repairs

If an agent's clients have to many claims the company will raise the premiums.

Louisiana has the highest “true cost”/percentage of income spent on car insurance in the country. There isn’t much an agent can do about that.

Governor Gordon should sue the insurance companies to make rates cheaper

Car theft: up
Litigation costs: up
Car parts: sky rocketing
Car replacement: way up
Body shop costs: way up
I’m not an expert in this field, but when all the costs are going up it only follows that the premiums will follow.

That can’t be right
Half the drivers in the state don’t have insurance

Are you addressing the company or the agents?
Agents in bad standing have higher premiums. Always call several agents within the company to get the best rate.
