My auto insurance was cancelled because I still lived with my parents and my Dad's driving record was horrific.
60ish, veteran insurance agent said he'd never seen that before.

I took a bite out of an extension cord when I was barely 4. I lived, and I have the scars on the inside and outside of my mouth to prove it. I don’t think many 4 year olds ride the lighting.

One time I logged into a large presentation with a few thousand people on it for the last 10 minutes out of 2 hours and won the sole raffle prize for a yeti cooler.

Truck I was driving got struck by lightning in the middle of nowhere West Texas. Fried everything electronic as you can imagine and left me stranded for about 24 hours on the side of the road.

Caught a tagged redfish in 2010 for the CCA star tournament. Was a week or 2 after the end of a 4 month tournament.

I was kidnapped and held hostage for 3 days as a kid (and had my arse severely beaten). We lived in a very nice cracker neighborhood. People left their doors unlocked and then poof - I had to f it up for everyone 
Odds of that happening in my neighborhood = extremely low so just bad luck.

Often I think I’m in a final destination movie but somehow escape harm
Between being on top of the World Trade Center 2 weeks before 9/11
Then a few years after that in Baltimore , a water taxi we had taken in the harbor , sank not long after we rode it and some people died
Feels like one of these days my time is gonna be up .
And I think about it randomly .. of course it’s just some type of main character syndrome but it does seem like I’ve been around this type of thing more than normal
