No, it's not the same at all. If it was, Democrats wouldn't lose their minds with the "dictator wants to destroy our democracy & cherished institutions" nonsense. I don't recall any Democrats wanting to replace FBI Agents with social workers, either.
How do you think the reporting on CNN would go if a Chicago street thug gunned down 2 FBI Agents as opposed to a couple of gumshoes/patrol officers?
