I often look at players, specifically PGs, in the women's basketball portal and they hardly ever have more then 4 or 5 assists. Maybe I haven't looked enough.

Here’s a list of the assist leaders this season. It’s a lot easier to get assists on a team with spot up shooters such as Iowa. Note that no S Carolina PG is on the list yet they share the ball well on a team filled with scorers.

Honestly there are very very few true PGs in the portal so you are kinda having to scrap together a combo guard more than not. Granted I think purely having athleticism at the pg spot next year does wonders for this team.
