The issue with 2022 for Republicans, is they literally ran on nothing. It was a last failing attempt by the GOPe to keep control.If you go back and look at past mid-year elections, there is usually some sort of push back against the party in the white house - 2006: the war, 2010: Obamacare, etc...

So, the Republicans ran on "Biden Bad" but didn't give any specifics as to how they would make anything better. I voted, but I cannot say I felt any great urgency to.

The reason Trump is gaining Blacks and Hispanics is because they clearly know they were better off under Trump.

They literally ran on the 3 issues posted above: jobs/economy, immigration, and inflation.

It's the same playbook in 2024, with abortion lurking in the crowd like Stone Cold Steve Austin just waiting to throw out some stunners out of nowhere
