re: What was the reason you didn’t marry the person you thought you were going to?

The woman I love got so many things right but ultimately preferred to maintain a state of constant indignation with all things pertaining to me, projecting her psychological stuff from childhood onto me always, self fulfilling prophecy rejection doom loop, never feeling secure enough with me; preferring to work out her emotions and feelings on me rather than bringing peace to the home. I just wanted a woman to make me an ham sammich and read the Bible to me and climb trees together but she wanted us to live inside a therapy session. And life is just so short to not have peace in one’s home. Without that nothing else is possible.

Peace, ladies. After sex and respect, that’s what we must have and can’t live without.
