I thought I'd marry the girl I was dating in High School. Pretty girl, a true ginger redhead, and yes, the carpet matched the drapes. I shipped out to basic training a week after graduation then after a brief leave at home shipped out for Germany. She swore she'd wait for me and we'd marry when I rotated back to the states. When her first letter arrived after I got to Germany I was excited to read it until I opened it up and found it was to tell me she had "met someone".

Later I found out from a mutual friend she had been a whore since I shipped out to Fort Knox for basic. A few days after I shipped out, she went to PCB with her friends. She met a guy there and spent the week with her legs spread for him. When she got back she started hooking up with a guy she worked with at Captain D's. He was the guy she met.

Turned out though I dodged a bullet. She ended up marrying the guy at Captain D's. They both worked there for several years, even after I came home. He ended up being promoted to the store manager. They apparently could not have kids so they adopted like four or five Mexican kids. She quit work to stay home with the kids. A few years later he started screwing a girl at Captain Ds and ended up leaving her and the kids for this new piece of arse. Last I heard she never remarried and raised the kids on her own. Basically she was a welfare queen. The kids are grown now and she lives in a single wide trailer and still works in fast food. I know where she works and have been tempted to take my family in there just so she can see how my life turned out compared to hers.

I thought I'd marry my college girlfriend. She wanted me to move to L.A. though and that just wasn't my thing. She was probably a bit high maintenance for me anyway, but she's a good person and I think she's doing well. I wish her nothing but the best.

My drinking and partying at that age didn't help either. It worked out fine for everyone involved.

Do it and tell her to supersize that shite.

But, I love those redheads, man.
