Not only 3 HRs but one to each field

Has any other LSU hitter ever done that?
The broadcast mentioned Leon Landry, Brad Cresse, and Eddy Furniss as hitting 3 in a game, but unless someone reviews the video or play by play of those games, we may never know.
Jones with a new way of saying good morning, good afternoon, and good night.
Jared 'Bear' Jones
ETA - All record holders are listed below - now with Jones - from the LSU Baseball Record Book

I hope he stays another year

I know the Tennessee pitching will be much better than that of McNeese, but with the way Jones is hitting lately, he may be able to hit a few out of that small park in Knoxville this weekend.
Let's hope so.

We hit a lot of balls Friday that will be out of the park in Knoxville. The other side of the coin is they’re hitting more HRs this year than they did 2 years ago up to this point

Their Park is always going to get a lot of HRs.

All he has to do is make contact and make the ball go in the air and it'll go out of their park. He hits pop outs 400 feet to dead center all the time at the box.

Did the first one to left go over the scoreboard
I was behind homeplate and did not see it come down

I hate to be pessimistic but tenn will just do what the scouting report is sure to say, “curve curve curve.”
For some reason mcneese kept feeding fastballs.

Jones is hitting off speed way better than last year. He turned the corner the way Jay hoped Kling and Neal would as well.

Two of his homers were off breaking balls last night.
Not saying they were good ones.
When he struck out with bases loaded he watched a fastball go by.

Don’t know about curve curve curve
More like away away away and get him to chase
The first home run was a hanging curve that I assume was not supposed to be in that location
Tenn pitchers are not gonna make that mistake
