Why not drive the seed limit? Then if someone is driving less than the speed limit in the right lane you can use the left lane to accelerate to the speed limit to pass?
Fwiw that’s how the law is supposed to work. Not idiots thinking the left lane has no speed limit and everyone driving slower than them are idiots and need to be driving in the right lane with the other idiots.

Suppose you are on a 2 lane highway and the car in front of you is going 2 below the limit. Do you only pass him going at exactly the limit or do you try to get around him as quickly and safely as possible?
