Take the toll lane if you’re in that big of a hurry. We left on time and prefer to drive safely. That’s what speed limits are for.
You want to set a precedent for police to write people tickets for not breaking the law?

This has nothing to do with driving in the left lane. It is strictly for passing. It is not for driving and regardless of the speed limit, the left lane is supposed to travel at least 4 mph faster than the right lane for safety.

In most states you are breaking the law if you are in the left lane and not actively passing someone.
