We could also charge $10,000 per student per year and that would motivate parents to be more involved to ensure that they are getting their money's worth. Lack of parent involvement is an issue at public schools.

Mainstreaming is the biggest issue. Mentally handicapped used to have their own programs and schools.
Its the kids in the middle who suffer. High achievers dont really need much instruction, and the low achievers are taking up all the resources.
