The vast majority of public schools in this state are already destroyed and the government can't do anything about it. No amount of money or great teachers can fix it. When a massive portion of your population doesn't care about education and doesn't respect authority then there isn't much you can do. Just hope to educate the students that actually want to learn which is a small %. Go spend a few days in a typical Louisiana public school and you'll see they are glorified day cares and it's not the fault of the teachers or the admin. The parents raising these kids dngaf about anything.
