I found the “choke” but had to play it half speed.

It happens after he’s already stabbed someone (so it’s irrelevant to his self defense claim), and it stretches the definition of a choke to its limits, at best.

and FTR, I don't think the guy will get off completely. but after watching just about everyone from the group of highschoolers and the Carlson group having been caught in untruthful testimony and watching the video, a reasonable person would believe a guy being choked, hit, and a guy trying to push his head under water could be in fear of his life or great bodily harm.

I thought the judge appeared to favor the kids. The police were obviously biased.

If there is a civil trial, I think the Carlson group is at least 50% responsible. The high school kids about 35% and maybe 15% Mui.

He gives a few examples, but just about all of the testifying witnesses got caught lying on the stand. At this point, the judge should give a directed verdict in my opinion.

I still believe the jury will convict on a lessor charge because of Mui's behavior after the attack.

The guy filming is the one most responsible for the escalation followed by the two white trash brothers and their disemboweled friend.

Miu’s testimony on cross was a bad look for him. He remembered his feelings perfectly every step of the incident when giving his defense testimony but played the don’t remember game when crossed.
