In tit for tat "diplomacy", it's more likely that Iran will hit a US consulate somewhere in the ME and kill a few diplomats.
That said, it's been quite some time since a terror attack on US soil or an old fashioned plane hijacking. They just need to identify some anniversary of some historical event...the jihadi's love that shite.
