he isn't a good coach. He had some good years because he bought all the talent in the world and was able to out talent college basketball by a mile and still only won 1 title.

He is overrated but to the OP's point Arky is shooting big to go get Kentucky's basketball coach. We shoot big in everything but men's basketball.

I agree he is overrated
But to say he’s a bad coach is objectively false and I’d encourage you to dig a bit deeper into his resume
Yes winning titles matters but he has a stellar winning % in March and has been to 6 final fours
And prior to buying lottery picks he won his conference 5 straight years at UMass and took them to a final 4
It’s a damn good hire for Arkansas IMO even if he’s overrated
Mind you LSU did something quite similar in hiring Kelly (IMO) who has never won a title

It's hard to reload and get team chemistry every year with a bunch of freshman. I don't care if they are top level talent. When that is your strategy, you never have any leadership on the floor. You need a balance experienced upperclassmen with that top level talent coming in to be successful in the tourney.
