Meatball is still my favorite. He did more with less than either of the two after him.

Yeskie has never really been touted as a short terms developer. He's always been more of long term guy.

That makes things difficult in year 1, and difficult in the portal age.

I think his pitch calling is very suspect, but that can come down to what they feel like the pitchers can execute.

I've already posted in another thread, but I've had questions about the way he handles a staff for a while now, going back to when he was at Arizona. Based on commentary from MLB prospect writers.

No way. Tried and true method of throwing an outside fastball with the infield shift on to induce what should be a groundball out, but usually turns into a dribbler 2 run single
