Life lesson - Follow the rules. Every place has expectations for how you are to conduct yourself. Follow the rules or deal with the consequences.

These idiots are protesting a war that doesn’t involve us . So brave

Yesterday, I was expelled from Vanderbilt University for peacefully protesting the genocide in Palestine.
These two things seem unrelated. What does Palestine have to do with an administration building at Vanderbilt? You don't get to just claim something you're doing is something else and it makes everything okay. Can I go rob a bank and claim it as a peaceful protest in the name of starving children? That actually sounds more reasonable.

Looks to me like he will have more time to be active. Win win for both sides.

Vandy is a private school, so no "government" buildings here.

I coached a girl at the university I worked at that’s in school over there for her masters now. Had a lot of respect for the girl (sweet kid, genuine, all that good stuff) but unfortunately she’s gone off the deep end liberally. Wouldn’t be surprised if she was a part of that group.

doubt it. i can’t remember the last “peaceful protest” by the Left.

Kids have been starving for attention for centuries but these days it’s insane.

Look, a great thing about America is that we have the freedom to protest whatever we want.
However, I think when you start breaking into private property, refusing to leave, and harassing a police officer just trying to clean up a mess that you created, I lose all sympathy.
And to try to make it seem like the student was expelled for "peacefully protesting Palestine" is such a mischaracterization of what actually went on it's shameful.
I wonder, in a few months, when the media attention is gone, what him and his parents will think. His parents whom have likely paid the massive bill...
He took a golden opportunity to get an education at one of the top universities in the country and threw it away so that he could make a scene on social media. I hope it was worth it.

I don’t feel sorry for Vanderbilt because they have been actively selecting a lot of that

I'm sure Harvard will take him.

I’m not sure what they think the Vanderbilt admin is going to do about the war in Palestine. All they are accomplishing is annoying (or endangering) their peers and faculty/staff with zero possibility of moving the geopolitical needle.
If they care so much and want to make their voice heard to people who are making the decisions in this conflict, the should get a plane ticket to Tel Aviv.
