Because he is fun to watch and has a unique personality. Being a couple fights from the rankings for many years (or ranked now as green is) is impressive at lightweight. And let’s not forget he arguably beat Fiziev who many consider a top 5 lightweight talent. IMO if you don’t enjoy watching Green you don’t enjoy MMA
