I was enamored at getting HVL, thinking with that starting lineup, it was a better than even chance we’d go undefeated.
In retrospect, we’d have been better off taking Endiya Rogers, a true PG. I’m not sure why we didn’t, considering she and Angel Reese were best buddies.
For this portal season, the Advocate mentioned nothing about DeeDee Hagemann, the All Big Ten PG who has been in contact with LSU, but mentioned getting a PG from Princeton who is rated the top player in the portal.
Personally I’d prefer Hagemann with her B10 experience but I honestly know nothing about the Princeton PG so I’ll trust Mulkey on this.
I do know this—we are loaded and could afford to misfire in the 2024 recruiting class. But Redus better get his shite together beginning in 2025 and quit getting his arse kicked in recruiting. He thinks he’s Superman as a recruiter but lately he hasn’t even been Clark Kent.
