The worst was seeing my mom with severe dementia.
The second worst was seeing her in her coffin.
Admittedly kind of messed up, but I imagine some of you will understand.

Reading this from a young man’s perspective, I’m calling my parents tomorrow now. I’m glad I still have them both, even if not everybody does. The day they go I genuinely don’t know if I could handle it, especially my dad. This thread just reminded me to appreciate them even more

my father just passed. The most painful part is the other people.
