Last year we were saying our only good pitchers were Skenes, Floyd, and Cooper.
This year it's Holman, Jump, and Herring. Pitching needed to improve for this team to have a chance to be elite and it hasn't.

People complained about Cooper until May. Same with Floyd. Skenes was the only pitcher people thought we could rely on until late in the season
