Just wear it, it can always be reconditioned by Patek or a good Indy.

I think Chris does a good job with the NTH subs and the logo is a lot better than the Lew and Huey robot dog he started with and still uses on the L&H watches.

They’re solid and he does a good job with the brand, and interacts regularly over on a watch forum.

I have a Nazario Sauro on the way and have been keeping an eye out for a polar Barracuda, also.

He can give me a discount on a polar Barracuda and we’ll call it even.

That’s an awesome VC.

There was one for sale on Chrono24 a couple weeks ago. I think it went for $200 or under. I lowball offered $150 because I wasn’t sure on the size and he countered $175, but I let it go.

damn thing is imprinted on me. when i'm working downstairs during the day he will get out of his cage, walk down the hall and if i still dont hear him tweeting, he'll bounce down the stairs and the next thing i know he's walking into my office.

so far i've taught him:
- GEAUX TIGERS
- LSU PREGAME
- NECK

he's struggling with NECK but its going to be so worth it when football season rolls around

eta the 'special part' of neck only gets taught when nobody else is home wife is going to kill me.

what is the process to get a bird to say words like that ?

is it like a dog where you give it special bird treats or what ?

curious minds would like to know

TIA

way easier than you think. i just say 'geaux tigers' every time i take his cover off in the mornings and when he's sitting on my shoulder. he'll cock his head and you know he's listening.

after a couple of weeks he randomly said some garble out of the blue that resembled 'geaux tigers' and over the next week or so it got more and more clear.

the LSU pregame was super easy..its just 4 notes and i would emphasize the last one to make sure he got it.

Neck is the toughest b/c he's getting a bit confused between the pregame and neck but he's slowly piecing it together.

and we won't talk about the student response part

If he isn't screaming RTWFU at every house guest then you are wasting your time.

Appreciate the heads up, but I'd want the no date version. I'm really picky about date windows. Also have another watch in the mail as of yesterday, so I'd better pass regardless.
