I got my first education from a very old lady who's yard I mowed when I was 9. She lost men in WWI, WWII and Korea, vietnam. She told me never let that happen to me.
I took it to heart.

I really am genuinely surprised.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happens if the most powerful country in the world decides to leave the rest of the world to its own devices. Sooner or later you end up having to intervene anyway, only the conflict has grown exponentially bigger because you allowed it to get that way.
Speaking of which, anybody who told you that the US shouldn't have participated in WWI and WWII is such an imbecile that you should be ashamed for listening to anything they said.
