Say brotato chip...

With respect, you sound like a very young person. Here's some unsolicited advice from another relatively young person with a little more life experience, apparently, and a kind heart to share wisdom...

Bragging on the internet about your salary and cars and lifestyle and even charitable donations is a sure way to curse it all - God don't like braggarts and anything can happen.

All of it could be taken from you at anytime - count your blessings and humble yourself.

This is not the place for it.

And what about your job entry? I could add CEO of Bank of America under my profile and send you a screen cap of that right now.

I’d expect a Lead Data Scientist would have thought through the holes here.

It’s ok I’m not religious and this isn’t a brag. People always claim others who don’t share the same opinion as them is automatically a troll. I’m just showing that they need to open their horizons

Once again, respectfully, folks who talk about money like you either never had it or just made it.

No offense.

And probably for a 3bdr/2bath zero lot, or close to it.

Well I'm sure the KC Chiefs moving there will improve this.

$75k in Dallas is what a decent executive assistant makes.

They do. This country doesn't have a shortage of housing. This country has a shortage of liveable areas.

If society was serious about fixing this, we would go start cracking skulls in high crime areas so those places could be safer to live for everyone. This will never happen because everyone is terrified of being called a racist.

Ghetto/hip hop culture is arguably the biggest societal problem in America right now. Eradicate that and a LOT of other problems go away.

Imagine if places like the south side of Chicago were a realistic option for a young, white family who is just starting out on their own. That would open up the housing market substantially.

El Salvador's president would have our housing crisis fixed in a week.

Incredible post.

Move? I’m not saying $75,000 is a lot of money, but here is a house in a suburb of Houston zoned to some of the best public schools in the state for under $300k. If you married someone making the same amount, you could raise a family here. LINK

I have no idea what that means. Is Lake Beau Pre zoned to good schools and affordable? If so, I agree.

Chicken that is the burbs.

The concept of “city” is kinda dead when most homes are outskirts

But…it’s not Dallas. Or L.A. Or NYC….

….and it’s only 3 bedrooms

This is why I’m over the whining and moaning about housing. Everyone is like these delusional OT3’s that think they’re going to get a 27 yo man making $200K/yr and is 6’2.

Probably took you all of 5 minutes to find that but nope, families in the middle can’t find housing at all. Anywhere.
