As much as people will hate to hear this, it's a theme under Trump based republicans. It's become much more "my way or the highway" governance (which is by definition big government) instead of personal liberties and freedom. Politics today, more than ever, are two sides of the same coin. No one can see the forest for the trees here and it's astounding.
