So, not one of all you MF who responded to this thread served in the military

Doesn't matter one bit. Someone's opinion doesn't hold more or less weight because they served in the military.

believe the team should be out there for the National Anthem?

They didn't leave the court because of the anthem. They left the court because it was part of their pregame warmup routine. The football team is NEVER on the field for the anthem. The other 2 teams that played that night weren't on the court. It was not and is not a protest. Regardless, you can't pull scholarships because someone protested. Like I said,

Apparently , lots of collegiate teams in WBB , Womens gymnastics , Mens baseball and football are in the locker room for the anthem , including the ARMY football team . This was not an issue last year when Mulkey brought home a Natty . It is not a protest . There are time constraints with broadcasting nationally , pre game prep and not running into other programming . This crap started because Mulkey stood up to the La media . The governor does not have to diss LSU to make right wing brownie points . BTW , my husband served 2 tours in Vietnam as a squadron leader flying the F-4 . He thinks this double down is retarded on the part of the gov .
