My suggestion: first figure out how you want your guests to eat. Will everyone be standing up and chatting or is there room for folks to sit? This should drive what you will serve. If your intent is for folks to mingle and chat, then I’d go with finger food…stuff you can pick up and eat in one bite with one hand (other will be holding a plate and/or drink). If your home can accommodate a significant number of folks sitting down to eat, then go with a broader menu.
