One team is out on the court for the anthem and the other is not. I'm sorry, but that does not look good for LSU. Kim Mulkey should say the fault is hers for not scheduling the pregame routine to have the team on the court for the anthem. This was a Final Four game, and it should have be understood to be present.

Matter of fact they should practice what they preach, NIL money should be spread out equally to EVERY athlete at the university. Why should one person receive more or not get some because the other person is more better. Equality!!!

UConn or USC weren’t on the court either, and not a peep out of anyone.
For 30 years the football team leaves the field and the anthem is played, no one has ever said anything.
The girls and boys teams have done the same thing for over 8 years, and about 10minutes prior to tip, the go back in the locker room, anthem plays they come out at like the 2:00 mark.
It’s not like they say” stand for the anthem” and they take off running.

It would be nice for all colleges no matter what sport to be present during the anthem. People in the US feel and are so privileged. Everyone gets behind our country/flag during the Olympics but wont stand by our flag during daily events. Its time to stop all the political BS and get behind our country we are blessed to live in a free world

I don’t follow politics much and (admittedly embarrassing) couldn’t tell you what Jeff Landry even looked like, but I don’t like him already.
If he didn’t realize the national unnecessary hatred our outstanding flagship university’s women’s basketball team was already getting then he’s an out of touch idiot. If he did know, didn’t care, and provided more ammunition for people to use against the team/university, then he’s idiot. Either way, he’s an idiot.
GFY Jeff Landry, learn to stick by your people through the tough times. You’re not welcome in the PMAC when the women go on another run next year.
