It's crazy how many Americans who consider themselves to be somewhat knowledgeable about politics are still in denial about the government corruption that's been playing out before their eyes the past 20-25 years and particularly the past 15 years.

A few of them seem to at least acknowledge our oligarchs are no better than Putin and the Russian oligarchs.
I guess they root for our oligarchs anyway because they’re “ours”.
Blind allegiance and no doubt our oligarchy would prefer we’d all be equally as good, dutiful and compliant.
