How dare he ask parents to raise their children to be more personally responsible without giving them free shite so they can just use that free shite as a stand-in for responsible parenting.

The quote about free stuff was from a white girl who is not a "Birmingham parent."
She reminds me of a girl I booted out of a FB group on race relations. The girl would opine all these asinine cures for the racial conflict in the U.S. Then, I looked at her profile. No one black friend. Lived in a town that was, as a practical matter, all white. Went to a private school with one black student.
When she said "It is not as if African-Americans like to fish," out she went. I should have acted sooner.
I suspect that the majority of black Birmingham residents agree with the Mayor.
