ucla is least watched college sports program. Their alum an students could care less to watch any sport they play.

Wait, the local paper is hyping their team as the “good guys”? Shocked.

I’ve been in Albany since Thursday night and I don’t think I’ve seen a UCLA shirt yet. Plenty of LSU gear in the arena yesterday though.

That's not surprising at all. We went to the 2006 Final Four (Men's), where it was LSU, Fla, UCLA, and George Mason. My brother even mistakenly booked us rooms in "the official HQ of the UCLA Bruins" per the banner in the lobby
We spent that weekend wandering around Indianapolis; lots of LSU, lots of Fla gear. A good bit of happy George Mason fans. Hardly any UCLA gear, even at that hotel... the Cali folks were wearing designer clothing trying to look "cool".

If they couldn't be bothered to represent for a Men's Final Four, they're not going to show out for a Women's Sweet 16.

Schools like UCLA, UC Berkeley, Vandy, Stanford, Northwesten and Rice take more pride in their academics than sports. Conversely, schools like Oklahoma, LSU, Bama, Tennessee and Nebraska take more pride in their sports programs. An inverse relationship. UCLA has the lowest acceptance rate of any public university and is a school of smart nerds. What part of that don’t you guys understand?
