Klever, but don't sucker me in on what will likely be referred to as an anti-semitic remark. As I remember the crucifixion of Yeshua it was the Roman's who did the dirty work per the request of the powerful Jewish Rabbi's

I thought we have played our best baseball the last two games.

Last night we walked 11 batters and struck out 19 times.

*struck out 10 times against the best pitcher in college baseball and 9 to their best reliever.
*the amount of walks should realistically be cut in half because of how horrible the calls were from that POS ump.

That’s great, but you said we played our best baseball. You honestly think that last night was the best baseball we’ve played?

What other game/series have we pitched and hit better? Mississippi state? Florida?

Uhh the games in which we didn’t strike out 19 times and walk 11 batters…

Oh so the games we played VMI, Stony Brook, etc… Aka significantly inferior pitching. My point is that Arkansas is good. Their pitching staff is top 10 in the nation. We had decent to good at bats against their whole staff and had chances to win the game last night and tonight.

How many runs were attributed to those plays… that were literally not deemed errors by the score keepers

I guess if we’re not getting run ruled we’re supposed to get excited about this team improving? Arkansas has an above average offense at best, and we’re still struggling to put them away when it matters. This team seems to find new ways to choke away a win every weekend now

Im not sure what that has to do with them being errors, basically flying in the face of the poster who said lsu is playing their best ball. We arent. We didnt play well defensively, at all. And the bats were pretty quiet minus one inning early on. Which is becoming a disturbing trend

The offense completely disappears after about the 4th inning of every conference game.

Giving up 4 runs is not pitching's fault. Timely hitting plain and that's simple.

I agree with most of what you are saying tbh. And at the end of the day… we literally have to be perfect to beat Arkansas. We are not the best team in the SEC this year. We may not even be in the top 5, but I do think we are making strides at getting better even if it ends in loses.

It’s an excellent question, so I upvoted you. As for blame, I say “blame it on Mexico.”
