Holman is a solid number 2. We don’t have an ace and sadly, we only have 3s and 4s after him.

Holman has been a hell of an ace prior to tonight. Not sure why he is struggling with leadoff batters. But, he hasn't had this issue all year.

I feel like all of our losses this year have come the same way.

We get up early, give up the lead, our offense sucks until the 8th or 9th inning, we score 1 or 2 final runs and still lose by a few runs.

I think you’re really confused about what an “ace” is. Holman is better than the vast majority of pitchers we’ll face in Friday night this year. That’s an ace.

He was a little off tonight. He’s fine.
